Abstract
The properties of bound states of holes and topological point defects of the s=1/2 antiferromagnet are studied. Cooper pairs are formed by point defects of opposite topological charge but net 2e electronic charge. The superconductive transition leads into an insulating phase with respect to the topological charge.
