Abstract
We have extended a previous study of the effect of the shape of the electron-phonon spectral density α2F(Ω) on the ratio 2Δ0/kBTc to include the thermodynamic indices γs[Tc/Hc(0)]2, ΔCv/γsTc, and the critical magnetic field deviation D(t). Using realistic shapes, we find small variations which are relatively larger in these ratios than was the case with 2Δ0/kBTc. The analysis is extended to a two-δ-function model spectrum to investigate the range of values taken on by these quantities when the shape of α2F(Ω) is left relatively unconstrained.
