Abstract
A lattice model for Cooper pairing and magnetic ordering is investigated at T=0 in a mean-field approach. The two-dimensional lattice consists of two different sorts of atoms which form regular sublattices. We find that there is a gapless Cooper-pairing phase if one sublattice has a repulsive and the other sublattice an attractive electron-electron interaction. On the other hand, there is an antiferromagnetic phase with a gap if the interaction is only repulsive. Furthermore, we do not find coexistence of Cooper pairing and magnetic ordering at T=0.
