Abstract
Experimental results of ultrasonic measurements on a single crystal of URu2Si2 exhibit an attenuation peak just below the superconducting transition and a broad maximum centered at 10 K. A relatively small magnetic field suppresses the attenuation peak below Tc. In addition, a 1.3×10−4 relative change of velocity across the superconducting transition is observed.
