Abstract
A hole created in an O2− ion on the CuO2 plane of the oxide superconductors forms a composite particle with a reversed spin Cu. The composite quasiparticle is a quasifermion with spin (1/2 and charge +e. It is noted that above a critical energy level the fermion must fall into the bound state. The bound state is the k=0 state of the quasibosons which give rise to novel superconductivity.
