Abstract
We study the critical indices of a high-Tc superconductor near its transition temperature Tc by assuming, phenomenologically, that superconductivity arises from a Bose-Einstein condensation of charged bosons (holons) in a resonating-valence-bond vacuum in 2+ε dimensions. A self-consistent version of the static random-phase approximation leads to a quasiparticle spectrum ɛ(k)=Akσ, with σ=1.766. .AE
