Abstract
The combined influence of crystal anisotropy, magnetic fluctuations, and quenched randomness upon the critical behavior of unconventional superconductors is studied by means of the renormalization-group analysis within the ε expansion. The fixed points of the renormalization-group equations are presented and their properties investigated to first order in ε=4-d. Because of the crystal-field anisotropy, no stable fixed points exist and the main conclusion is that only fluctuation-driven first-order transitions should occur in unconventional superconductors in the vicinity of the critical point.
