Abstract
The thermally activated motion of magnetic flux through arrays of weak links that are assumed to be strong enough to trap integral numbers of flux quanta in the spaces between them is modelled computationally. The results are compared with the predictions of flux-creep theories recently developed in the context of high-temperature superconductivity and the relevance of such theories to the experimental situation is assessed.
