Abstract
We present in this paper the first quantitative calculation of critical temperature Tc and gap parameter β(≡2Δ/kBTc) of superconductors with fractal structure in the light of electron-fracton coupling. The Kresin’s formula which is valid for any arbitrary value of λ is used. The calculations are based on the McMillan function α2F(ω) of electron-fracton interaction recently developed by the authors. Variations of Tc and β with the fractal dimension D are plotted. The results exhibit the possibility of obtaining high critical temperature in superconductors where electrons and fractons are strongly coupled. Application of the calculations to amorphous superconductors is discussed.
