Abstract
Recent neutron-scattering experiments on La1.86Sr0.14CuO4 find an isotropic but incomplete suppression of the scattering intensity below Tc. Here we show that for a dx2-y2-wave superconductor with a strong enhancement of the spin-fluctuation scattering and a proper choice of the model parameters, this is the type of behavior that is expected.
