Abstract
We give a strong-coupling real-frequency-axis formulation of the phonon-self-energy change on entering the superconducting state for a d-wave superconductor. The effect of impurity scattering in the Born (weak scattering) and unitary (T-matrix approach) limits is considered and numerical results presented for phonon shifts and changes in width.
