Abstract
Quasiparticles with an anomalously large effective mass (m*=γme) become superconducting in the heavy-fermion systems. Since the phase transition is a second-order transition, the quasiparticle just below Tc must still have the large m*. Using a simple model, we show that the m* [=(1-∂Σ/∂ω)ω=0m] in the superconducting phase decreases with decreasing temperature from Tc. Furthermore, it is predicted that dγ/dT at Tc is proportional to an initial slope of a critical magnetic field -dHc/dT.
