Abstract
The implications of a model for percolative vortex motion on the voltage-current characteristics of inhomogeneous superconductors are explored. At the percolation threshold power-law behavior E∝Jψ with a universal critical exponent ψ is found. The model is consistent with the experimental finding of a power law in the voltage-current characteristics of high-temperature superconductors at the so-called vortex-glass transition temperature Tg that corresponds to the percolation threshold.
