Abstract

The Shubnikov–de Haas measurement of the organic superconductor κ−(BEDT−TTF)2Cu2(CN)3 yields a rapid oscillation originating from the calculated two-dimensional Fermi surface. In addition, a slow oscillation corresponding to 3.0% of the first Brillouin zone area was observed for a field applied perpendicular to the conducting plane. This oscillation shows an anomalous angle dependence on the magnetic field and corresponds to a three-dimensional Fermi surface rather than a two-dimensional one.
