Abstract

We present experimental evidence of abnormal behavior in the mixed state of CeCo2. The temperature dependence of the magnetic anomaly just below Hc2 compares very well with that of the superconducting order parameter, which we consider as experimental evidence for a strong correlation between the two quantities. From the sample dependence of the anomaly and an electron probe microanalysis of each sample, we conclude that it is likely to be due to impurities present in the samples.
