Abstract

We report that the two distinct superconducting phases of CeCu2Si2 with a slightly different Tc revealed an opposite pressure dependence of Tc and quite a different normal state at low temperatures; a strongly T-dependent Cp/T peaking around 0.6 K for the high-Tc phase as contrasted with a very weak T dependence for the other. The superconducting Cp, however, exhibited a quadratic T dependence above 0.2 K and below ∼0.1K in both phases. We herein speculate that these two superconducting states might be due to a different pairing mechanism or symmetry.
