Abstract
We study the anisotropy and temperature dependence of the critical current in a superconducting film covered with a regular square array of ferromagnetic dots with magnetization perpendicular to the film and sufficiently large to generate vortices in the superconducting film under each dot and antivortices between the dots. Assuming that the vortices do not move, we calculate the velocity of the antivortices and the induced electric field driven by the dc exceeding its critical value. We predict the appearance of the Shapiro steps in this system. Finally, we discuss properties of a superconducting film covered with an array of ferromagnetic dots whose magnetic moments alternate.
