Abstract

Influence of impurities on magnetic coherence length ξh in mixed state of type-II superconductors is investigated in framework of quasiclassical theory. Nonmonotonic magnetic-field dependence of ξh(B) is found. Increasing of the scattering rate results in decreasing of ξh making the ξh(B) curve flat. Interconnection between ξh and the coherence length in the Meissner state is obtained. Characteristic relaxation time τ0 is the only parameter needed for excellent fitting of the numerically calculated dependences of ξh(τ,B,T). The τ0(B,T) dependence is calculated.
