Abstract
ThPt4Ge12 is an actinoid-bearing representative of a recently discovered family of Ge-based skutterudites. Based on magnetization, electrical resistivity, and specific heat data, the compound was characterized as a clean-limit strong-coupling superconductor with Tc=4.62K. Moreover, some hints are given at a possible non-BCS character of the superconducting state.
