Abstract
The superconducting critical temperature, Tc, of different configurations of layers is studied under the de Gennes–Werthamer model. Certain inconsistencies are seen to develop with the use of this approach, calling into question previous results obtained. Preliminary results on Nb/Zr layered structures are also presented.
