Abstract
Based on an analytic expression for the density of states (DOS) near the Fermi level, we argue that the DOS obtained recently in the unitarity limit for the d-wave impure superconductors by Sun and Maki [Phys. Rev. B 51, 6059 (1995)] is incorrect. We make a physical argument about the correct structure the DOS and suggest a measurement of the angle-resolved DOS to verify it experimentally.
